Job Title:

A Senior Defence Specialist is required to work on complex and impactful Defence projects that shape the future of Australia.

The role will involve working with key areas across Defence including Defence Digital Group (DDG), Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), and the Navy, Army, and Air Force.

  • Conduct Radio Risk Reduction Tests to assess Tactical Communications Network performance.
  • Maintain and develop RF tactical network infrastructure for Land and Joint projects.
  • Provide integration and evaluation support for tactical radios, waveforms, and encryption technologies.
  • Perform bench-level testing and installation to ensure radio interoperability and functionality.
  • Offer technical guidance on emerging tactical waveforms and interoperability solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience within secure ICT systems in the Defence domain.
  • A detailed understanding of the One Defence Capability System policy and processes.
  • High-order organisational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • High-order stakeholder management skills (internal and cross-organisation).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
