Job Description: We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Associate in Strategic and Statutory Land Use Planning. As an Associate, you will be responsible for technical completion of projects and project tasks set by senior staff. You will work autonomously and as part of the team to deliver projects and services to clients, ensuring excellence in delivery at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic and statutory planning advice and support to the Associate Director
  • Assist in forward planning projects including research, review, and preparation of strategies, plans, codes, and policies
  • Provision of professional advice on planning matters to internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of urban planning and development, and local government policies and procedures
  • Intermediate to advanced capabilities in strategic land use planning, and/or statutory drafting and plan-making
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of state planning frameworks, and local planning schemes and codes
