About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at our residential aged care facility. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality clinical care to our residents, ensuring their independence and dignity are maintained.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and making a real difference in the lives of our residents.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience working within residential aged care facilities and possess a strong understanding of the needs of consumers residing in or transitioning to residential aged care.

  • Deliver high-quality clinical services, including care planning, reviewing and assessing all aspects of clinical care;
  • Ensure a customer service focus is applied to all clinical care and service delivery;
  • Provide safe and effective clinical care that is derived from evidence-based practice and in line with scope of practice;
  • Lead, supervise and coach care support staff at the facility.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following:

  • A minimum 1-2 years of experience working within residential aged care facilities;
  • Solid understanding of the current Aged Care Quality Standards;
  • Ability to establish trusting relationships and develop person-centered support that is appropriate to residents' unique needs;
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills, including conflict resolution, supervision and striving for continuous improvement;
  • Current AHPRA registration and a valid work rights in Australia;
  • Possess or willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.
