Transformative Therapeutic Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Transformative Therapeutic Care Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children who need it most.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing safe, trauma-informed therapeutic care to children during their stay. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with specialist education, psychology, and social work staff to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality care.

  • Collaborate with our team to provide intensive therapeutic care to vulnerable children.
  • Work effectively with specialist education, psychology, and social work staff to deliver trauma-informed care.
  • Adapt to changing needs and priorities, demonstrating resilience and self-awareness.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. You will also need to have experience working in a trauma-informed way with children who display challenging behaviors.

Requirements
  • Hold a current WA 'C' or 'C-A' class Licence.
  • Demonstrate cultural safety and provide examples of where you have demonstrated this in practice.
  • Show genuine care and compassion for others, with the ability to build trust and communicate openly and honestly.
