At Northline, we are seeking a skilled Freight Delivery Specialist to join our Darwin team. This role involves the safe and efficient delivery of freight to our customers, as well as loading and unloading a variety of freight.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver customer freight in a timely and accurate manner;
- Ensure freight and deliveries match up and are consistent with current paperwork;
- Communicate effectively with the depot (manager/supervisor);
- Maintain a truck log to align with current state legislation;
- Operate a forklift;
- Handle freight and curtain gates manually.
Requirements:
- Hold a current and valid MC Licence;
- Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF);
- Be physically fit to handle repetitive lifting of freight/opening and closing of curtains;
- Transport industry experience with general freight carriers is highly regarded;
- Experience working in physically demanding conditions and fast-paced environment;
- Awareness of Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods is highly regarded.
