We are seeking an experienced Freight Delivery Specialist to join our team in Darwin. This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday, commencing from approximately 6/7am.

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of freight to our customers as well as loading and unloading a variety of freight.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver customer's freight accurately and on time;
  • Ensure freight and deliveries match up and are consistent with current paperwork;
  • Maintain constant communication with the depot (manager/supervisor);
  • Operate a forklift;
  • Manual handling of freight and curtain gates.
Requirements
  • A current and valid MC Licence;
  • A current Forklift Licence (LF);
  • Be physically fit to handle repetitive lifting of freight/opening and closing of curtains;
  • Transport industry experience with general freight carriers is highly regarded;
  • Experience working in physically demanding conditions and fast-paced environment;
  • An awareness of Load Restraint and Dangerous Goods will be highly regarded.

You will be required to pass a pre-employment medical that incorporates a drug & alcohol screen, as well as a police clearance.

Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
