Job Title: Construction Site Project Manager

Job Description:

This role oversees daily operations on construction sites to ensure timely project delivery and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervising and coordinating site activities, subcontractors, and tradespeople to achieve project goals.
  • Monitoring project timelines, budgets, and quality standards to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Interpreting and implementing construction plans, specifications, and drawings to meet project requirements.
  • Liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting site inspections and preparing progress reports to track project performance.
  • Managing site resources, including materials, tools, and equipment, to optimize productivity and efficiency.
  • Resolving on-site issues and providing practical solutions to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, applicants should possess:

  • A Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a site supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • A current White Card and valid driver's license to access construction sites.
  • Experience with residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with project management software and digital site tools.
