About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floating Op Shop Manager to join our team at RSPCA Qld. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for leading our Brisbane stores, managing a team of staff and volunteers, and ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the RSPCA Qld Op Shop team and brand, promoting a positive and supportive store atmosphere.
  • Work closely with the Op Shop Store Manager and Area Manager to achieve sales targets and support the mission of RSPCA Qld.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and ensure a welcoming shopping experience.
  • Train and support volunteers to achieve their full potential.
  • Drive sales to achieve set targets and oversee the daily register opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain and review the shop's pricing list to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
About You

We are looking for a confident and experienced retail leader with a passion for community and sustainability. Your skills and qualifications may include:

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a retail environment.
  • Knowledge of fashion and clothing brands.
  • Proven visual and merchandising skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • High level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Sound computer skills.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to supervise and provide direction to a small team.
