About the Role

Endeavour Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Re-Use Shop Coordinator in Acacia Ridge. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our Re-Use Shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all visitors to the Re-Use Shop, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
  • Coordinate the daily operation of the retail shop, including managing stock, pricing products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records, adhering to approved cash handling procedures.
  • Manage the petty cash float and maintain accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales targets and maximize potential revenue.
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with ACCC legislation and regulations.
About You
  • You possess excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • You have strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate a team, with a passion for recycling and reducing waste.
  • You are available to work every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with a flexible approach to scheduling.
  • You have excellent time management skills and are physically fit to meet the demands of the role.
  • You have experience in identifying and valuing second-hand items, with a medium level of computer literacy and financial reporting.
  • License and own transport are preferred due to limited public transport options.
  • Forklift ticket is desirable but not essential.
