About the Role

Endeavour Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Re-Use Shop Coordinator in Acacia Ridge. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our reuse shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to all visitors, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
  • Retail Operations: Coordinate the daily operation of the retail shop, including stock management, pricing, and floor layout.
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions in accordance with approved procedures and deposit all cash for banking.
  • Petty Cash Management: Manage the petty cash float and maintain accurate records.
  • Stock Management: Price products as per agreed guidelines and maintain a high level of stock and floor layout to maximize sales potential.
  • Workplace Health and Safety: Work within and have regard for Workplace Health and Safety procedures.
  • ACCC Legislation: Familiarize yourself with (or be willing to learn) ACCC legislation.
  • Independence: Work with minimal supervision.
About You
  • Customer Service Skills: Superb customer service and great communication skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate a diverse team.
  • Passion for Recycling: Passion for all things recycling and reducing waste.
  • Availability: Availability to work every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills.
  • Physical Fitness: Physically fit due to the demands of the role.
  • Experience: Experience in identifying and valuing second-hand items.
  • Transportation: License and own transport preferred due to limited public transport.
  • Forklift Ticket: Forklift ticket desirable, but not essential.
  • Computer Literacy: Medium level of computer literacy and financial reporting.
