Technical Service Engineer

This role involves leading the Technical Service team, managing schedules and priorities to resolve equipment issues within assigned regions. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical installations, solar electrical systems, and customer service.

  • Manage technical support structure and troubleshoot equipment efficiently.
  • Develop and implement product service documents and update online technical information.
  • Design and deliver technical training programs for customers and colleagues.
  • Supervise installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of energy storage systems.
  • Resolve customer complaints and escalate complex issues to higher-level technical support teams.
  • Work closely with product line technical teams to resolve customer issues and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
Key Responsibilities
  • Root cause analysis on system failures and provide comprehensive documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with FranklinWH Code of Business Conduct in all business activities.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of installation and troubleshooting experience with ESS and related solar systems.
  • Proven team lead or management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant regulations and Australian Standards.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with customers effectively.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, structural, mechanical, and architectural drawings.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70% for work-related purposes.
