Acceptance Risk Specialist

A leading global law firm is seeking a Business Acceptance Analyst to join its Risk & Compliance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the firm is protected from reputational, legal, and commercial risks.
The role involves analysing new clients and matters to identify and resolve legal and commercial issues such as conflicts of interest, ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing obligations, and meeting international regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have clear and confident communication skills, strong analytical and research skills, and a desire to work collaboratively with a dynamic and motivated team.
A legal qualification is not essential, but problem solving, professionalism, and sound judgement are key. A full job description can be found below.
Key Responsibilities:- Analysing new clients and matters to identify and resolve legal and commercial issues
- Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing obligations
- Meeting international regulatory requirements
- Demonstrated experience in Risk & Compliance, Conflicts and/or AML/KYC in the professional services sector
- Knowledge of AML/CTF obligations
- Degree qualified in Law, Risk Management, Business, Politics, Economics or related discipline
- Strong organisational and research skills, attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement and an inquisitive mind
- Good team spirit: train, mentor and assist others, when necessary, with the resolution of issues in a diplomatic manner
