Our organisation is currently seeking a Verification and Acceptance Strategist to join our dynamic team. Based in Osborne, SA, this role will be responsible for developing and managing the scope of the verification and acceptance program.

The ideal candidate will possess leadership experience in an engineering or complex organisation, preferably in a Defence/Maritime environment. They will also have demonstrated knowledge of verification and validation with a good understanding of systems engineering.

  • Lead the development and management of the verification and acceptance program scope
  • Recruit and manage a team to execute the program scope
  • Develop and adhere to verification and acceptance strategies, policies, processes, and plans
  • Communicate with all stakeholders through preparation and participation in readiness reviews and working groups

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Leadership experience in an engineering or complex organisation, preferably in Defence/Maritime environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of verification and validation with a good understanding of systems engineering
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to motivate individuals and teams
  • Proven ability to problem solve to deliver objectives
  • A focus on continuous improvement, identifying dependencies, risks, and opportunities
