Job Description:

As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely follow-up of claims for services provided at Cabrini. Your work will help patients focus on their health by facilitating the processing of payments and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key responsibilities include following up on unpaid accounts with patients, Medicare, DVA, TAC, WorkCover, and other third-party providers. You will also investigate and resolve Medicare rejections, assist patients and their families with account-related queries, and support the wider team by learning additional roles to provide cover when needed.

  • Maintaining strong connections between the Patient Accounts team and other departments
  • Ensuring every interaction reflects the high standard of care Cabrini is known for
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • Experience in accounts receivable, ideally within a private healthcare or medical setting
  • Confidence with medical claiming processes and collections
  • Familiarity with systems such as WebPas and Pracsoft
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
