We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in the High Dependency Unit at Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton.

This is a permanent part-time role, working 32 hours per week, providing evidence-based and contemporary patient-centred clinical care in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team.

About the Role
  • The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care, extending to patient advocacy with particular consideration to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of patients that contribute to optimal clinical outcomes.
  • Responsibilities include ensuring the safe and efficient management of care within the scope of practice and professional guidelines.
Key Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with no restrictions.
  • Proficient ECG and Cardiac arrhythmia interpretation skills.
  • Demonstrated competency in intravenous (IV) cannulation.
  • Able to care for patients with Non-Invasive Ventilation/Airvo required, with Invasive Ventilation skills competency preferable.
  • Digital and computer proficiency, extending to Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Minimum of one-year post graduate experience.
  • Australian Citizenship, permanent residency, a current work Visa with no restrictions or an applicable ANMAC occupational code if seeking Visa sponsorship.
