Job Opportunity for Registered Nurse

Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the High Dependency Unit, providing contemporary patient-centred clinical care in collaboration with healthcare professionals.

  • Ensure safe and efficient management of care within scope of practice and professional guidelines.
  • Advocate for patients considering physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
About You

To succeed in this position, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with no restrictions.
  • Proficient ECG and cardiac arrhythmia interpretation skills.
  • Demonstrated competency in intravenous cannulation.
  • Able to care for patients on Non-Invasive Ventilation/Airvo, with Invasive Ventilation skills preferable.
  • Digital and computer proficiency extending to Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Minimum of one-year post-graduate experience.
  • Australian Citizenship, permanent residency, or current work Visa with no restrictions or applicable ANMAC occupational code for Visa sponsorship.
