We are seeking experienced professionals to lead separate streams of a high-impact modernisation programme. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing complex technical initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the product backlog for the modernisation programme, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Monitor dependencies, risks, and technical challenges proactively.
  • Achieve business value through the implementation of modern engineering practices, security standards, and performance optimisation.
Stream One - Fines Management Squad

The successful candidate will partner with technical leads to design and execute upgrades and deployments, including:

  • Migrate existing batches to AWS Cloud native systems.
  • Implement AWS containerisation for scalable application hosting.
  • Upgrade Oracle databases to Amazon RDS.
  • Ensure minimal downtime and data integrity assurance during database migrations.
  • Enhance CloudWatch monitoring and protection capabilities.
Stream Two - Overdue Fines Squad

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will partner with technical leads to design and execute upgrades and deployments, including:

  • Implement AWS containerisation for scalable application hosting.
  • Perform a PHP upgrade from 7.3 to 8.5, ensuring compatibility and performance improvements.
  • Execute PostgreSQL database upgrades with minimal downtime and data integrity assurance.
