Job Summary

This role is for an Assistant Company Secretary at a leading organisation. The successful candidate will be a highly organised professional with proven company secretarial or governance experience.

The job involves providing high-quality compliance and secretarial support to the Company Secretariat team, as well as contributing to the smooth operation of the Group Boards and Committees.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the preparation and delivery of Board and Committee meetings
  • Assist with corporate and regulatory reporting obligations
  • Provide timely governance advice and support across the organisation
  • Manage the effective flow of information between the Board, Committees, CEO, and Executive team
  • Support governance processes including Board evaluations, Director recruitment, induction, and training
  • Maintain the Board's annual planner to ensure all key tasks are delivered on time

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong planning, coordination, and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with board management software
  • Relevant qualifications in Law, Governance, and/or Business Management (or equivalent experience)
  • A collaborative mindset, high ethical standards, and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality
