Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead our efforts in radioactive waste management.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a strategic thinker with expertise in project management, team leadership, and technical program delivery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex technical programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing technical oversight to ensure the safe and secure management of Australia's radioactive waste.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Program Delivery: Develop and manage comprehensive technical work programs, ensuring that all activities are aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining a strong focus on safety and security.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry partners, and community groups.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, environmental science, or business administration.
  • Experience: Proven track record in project management, team leadership, and technical program delivery, preferably in the nuclear or environmental sector.
  • Skill Set: Strong leadership and project management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a dynamic team environment, experience with regulatory compliance and stakeholder engagement.
