About the Opportunity

MIGAS Apprentices & Trainees is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator Trainee. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in project coordination, while working with a host company located in Mount Thorley.

Job Details

This 24-month traineeship will provide you with the chance to gain valuable experience in the workplace and complete a BSB40120 Certificate IV in Business (Administration). You will be working closely with a mentor and completing a blend of on-the-job training and theory coursework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients and customers, building relationships with stakeholders
  • Monitor and schedule maintenance and checks of onsite equipment, tools
  • Maintain spreadsheets and internal software programs, inputting, updating and recording data
  • Manage supplies and ordering materials, requisitions, creating purchase orders
  • Complete job packages, inventory, system tracking
  • Handle phone enquiries courteously and professionally from internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Solid office experience and ability to learn new software skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a team player able to work collaboratively within an industrial setting
  • Sound computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Police Check
