About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Network Technician Trainee to join our team at Amazon. As a Network Technician Trainee, you will play a critical role in the design, planning, delivery, and operation of our global infrastructure.

You will work closely with our Network Engineering and Network Technical Project Manager teams to ensure the smooth rollout of new designs and products. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in hyperscale data center operations and physical network cabling infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with our team to ensure the physical network cabling infrastructure across multiple sites complies with company and industry quality and standards.
  2. Shadow our coaching work with cabling vendors to adhere to standard operating procedures.
  3. Implement network scaling and cabling projects according to priorities and dependencies.
  4. Manage, check, and coordinate network cabling materials inventory.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Strong interest in hyperscale data center operations and physical network cabling infrastructures.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  4. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
  5. Ability to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Internship or working experience in hyper-scale data center.
  2. Knowledge of IT best practice framework, project management methodologies, and ticketing systems.
  3. Understanding of major Command Line Protocols and common Networking Protocols.
  4. Experience in installation, provisioning, and migration of network hardware.
