Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our team as an Operational Stevedoring Professional. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to manual labor, including operating heavy machinery and working at heights.

About the Role

This is an ad-hoc shift work position, with a guaranteed minimum wage and leave entitlements. As an Operational Stevedoring Professional, you will be required to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Critical Skills & Experience

  • Fitness, ability, and willingness to perform manual work
  • Holding a current manual driver's license
  • A commitment to achieving superior work performance
  • The ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card
  • Flexibility to work shifts over a 7-day, 24-hour period
  • Availability to attend work at short notice
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Reliability to perform routine tasks without supervision
  • Forklift license – essential
  • Experience in slinging loads – dogman ticket essential
  • Ability to work at heights – training in this area highly regarded

Estimated Salary: AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
