Key Operations Role

The Operations Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of logistics, facility upkeep, wash pad facilities, and tool stores at our Perth Branch.

This leadership position demands strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution abilities, and effective communication to drive team performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, demonstrating company values through actions, decisions, and behavior.
  • Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations for all inbound and outbound logistics movements.
  • Develop team capability in materials handling, including safe and effective loading and unloading of machines and parts.
  • Provide operational support to service teams, including tool delivery, machine inventory management, and crane operations.
  • Manage tool store inventory, calibration, and storage practices, driving continuous improvement and service quality.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and foster accountability to meet performance targets and operational goals.
  • Recruit, coach, and mentor team members to build a skilled, motivated, and high-performing workforce.

Requirements

  • Certificate IV or higher qualification in Leadership, Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in operations or warehouse leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to analyze data across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Experience interpreting CAT systems and managing order tracking to meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills with a track record of handling challenging situations effectively.
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal capability.
  • High-level proficiency in MS Office Suite and internet-based applications.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a focus on meeting internal and external customer needs.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
