Job Opportunity

The role of Steel Frame Assembler involves assembling steel roof trusses, joists and wall frames according to drafting plans. This position is part of the Assembly manufacturing team under the supervision of the Factory Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand basic drawings and framing plans
  • Assemble roof trusses, joists, and wall frames to a high quality and standard
  • Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure seamless coordination and timely completion of production tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
  • Adhere to Work Health Safety (WHS) guidelines at all times

Requirements:

  • Display an excellent work ethic, be honest, reliable, and punctual
  • Be physically fit to perform manual handling tasks
  • Have experience in using hand and power tools - training will be provided
  • Have a general understanding of assembly work
  • Be comfortable working in a high-volume, repetitive environment
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks
  • Be able to work independently, as well as contribute as a team member
  • Be available to work Monday – Friday and occasional Saturdays from 5:00am - 1:30pm
