We are seeking an experienced Commercial Analyst to join our team in North Ryde.

**Job Description:**

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Commercial Analyst to contribute to the growth and success of our retail organisation. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for championing the rebates process, managing supplier relationships, and providing critical business insights to inform decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Run and prepare data and raise invoices for rebates for both entities of the organisation.
  • Sending invoices to suppliers is also a key responsibility.
  • Maintain accurate data in systems on a monthly/weekly basis for rebates and suppliers.
  • Provide weekly margin reporting to the finance team for straights and vendor terms.
  • Deliver monthly financial reporting and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Produce weekly sales data for agreed suppliers.
  • Liaise with auditors during year end audit.
  • Address supplier disputes in a professional and timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain robust relationships with suppliers through effective communication.
  • Continuously improve processes to manage complex supplier terms.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure data delivery and presentation in the correct format.
  • Support rebate process improvement projects.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis when required.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including sumif formulas, v-lookups, and pivot tables.
  • Experience working within claims/rebates roles (ideally FMCG/Retail) or senior accounts receivable positions.
  • Friendly personality, as this role will be the face of the business communicating regularly with suppliers.
  • Innovative thinking and proactive problem-solving.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
