Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced structural engineer to lead technical delivery on diverse projects, mentoring junior engineers and collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams.

About the Role

  • Lead technical delivery of bridge and transport structure projects, applying standard and advanced engineering techniques.
  • Develop design solutions, prepare drawings, calculations, and specifications for various structural forms.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success.
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers, fostering their technical growth.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives within our Bridges and Structures Business Class.
  • Drive safety and quality leadership aligned with our 'Drive to Zero' initiative.

About You

  • A minimum of 7 years' professional experience in structural engineering, focusing on bridges.
  • Chartered member of Engineers Australia and Registered Professional Engineer Victoria (RPEV).
  • Experience in project management, including commercial, administrative, and technical aspects.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead small project teams.
  • Proficient in structural analysis and design software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and drive innovation in design and delivery.
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset and passion for continuous learning.
