Transport Structure Engineer Position

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Structure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of bridge and transport structure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical delivery of bridge and transport structure projects
  • Develop design solutions and prepare drawings, calculations, and specifications for various structural forms
  • Perform structural planning, analysis, and design for transport infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to ensure project success
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers to foster their technical growth

Requirements:

  • Typically, a minimum of 7 years' professional experience in structural engineering, focusing on bridges
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related discipline
  • Chartered member of Engineers Australia and Registered Professional Engineer Victoria (RPEV)
  • Experience in project management, including commercial, administrative, and technical aspects
  • Proficient in structural analysis and design software such as Midas Civil, SpaceGass, Strand 7, SBD, Excel, and an interest in parametric modelling
