Job Title: Guest Service Representative

Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns is seeking a highly skilled and charismatic Guest Service Representative to join our team of friendly and dedicated individuals, committed to providing exceptional service within our Front Office department at a 5-star level.

About the Role:

As a Guest Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests. Your excellent organizational and communication skills, high standard of personal presentation, and true understanding of unparalleled customer service will make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions.
  • Assist guests with their luggage and provide concierge services, such as booking transportation, making restaurant reservations, and arranging for tours and activities.
  • Coordinate with other hotel staff to ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly.
  • Ensure the lobby and other public areas are clean and well-maintained.
  • Represent the hotel in a positive light to guests and visitors.
