The Community Engagement Specialist role sits in the Regional Development and Engagement business unit at Crossmark. This team has been designed to lift the digital capability of regional Australia and includes increasing community understanding and awareness of the company brand.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the Regional Community Engagement Manager to develop an understanding of Crossmark priorities and identify opportunities across the region
- Engage and collaborate with internal teams to ensure an integrated approach to community engagement
- Drive awareness and develop relationships with local community groups across the region
- Support the delivery of local community engagement programs through a variety of activities, including education sessions for the community through libraries and community organisations, and engaging with communities via local information sessions and community events
- Collaborate across the Crossmark local team to review, report, and analyse the success of campaigns and community engagement activities
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who has a passion for helping people and has worked within regional, remote businesses and local communities to be able to confidently influence and build trust.
- The ability to interact with the local community accompanied by your knowledge on how to plan, coordinate and follow through on projects
- Excellent presentation skills required for our community projects
- The ability to engage and build strong relationships
- Tech background preferred
- Full Australian Driver's License required
- You will need to be regionally located ideally in or around Wheatbelt and surrounding regions
