Job Title: Participation Coordinator

A key role has become available within our organization to manage and deliver participation programs.

">

This position is primarily responsible for the successful implementation of NAB AFL Auskick and Superkick programs, as well as the recruitment and coordination of staff.

">

Key responsibilities will include coordinating regional action plans, liaising with schools and program stakeholders, and delivering programs to support transition and retention of Community Footballers.

">

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and young people, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to work outside normal business hours.

">

They must also possess a Tasmanian Driver's License and an understanding of Microsoft Office suite of products.

">

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the delivery of NAB AFL Auskick and Superkick programs.
  • Coordinate the recruitment of Auskick and Superkick Coordinators.
  • Implement regional action plans to ensure targeted delivery of programs.
  • Liaise with teachers, schools and other program stakeholders to increase School Teacher Members.
  • Support ongoing training and education for casual staff to deliver AFL Programs.
  • Support booking and delivering school programs to increase participation.
  • Deliver programs to support transition and retention of Community Footballers.

Ideal Team Member:

  • Experience working with children and young people.
  • Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively unsupervised.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Qualifications in Sports Coaching / Management, Recreation, Education or equivalent depth of experience.
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours.
  • A love for the game of AFL.
  • Tasmanian Driver's License.
  • Understanding Microsoft Office suite of products.
