WHAT YOU'LL DO

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly driven and successful NOVA Entertainment team to generate market demand and enable our Commercial teams to deliver digital audio revenue. This national role will have a primary focus on improving the monetisation of podcast titles and talent to achieve contractual targets, with the engagement of Commercial colleagues across the business. In addition, you will be an SME for your local team across all digital and data commercial opportunities, and have a good understanding of the programmatic ecosystem.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital sales strategies, including monetisation of key podcast partners, and support the All of Audio Sales teams in delivering digital and sponsorship revenue

  • Proactively identify new revenue opportunities to sell in the value of digital, Retail Media automated trading and All of Audio further upstream with agencies and clients (partnering with the Sales teams). Stimulate market demand through thought leadership, case studies, and driving critical conversations.

  • Utilise knowledge of how our live streaming and podcasting content resonates with audiences to determine the best tools and resources to grow the confidence and capabilities of the Commercial team. Be the centre of excellence for NOVA Entertainment's digital proposition and new product launches (first 90 days) to accelerate internal adoption and sales enablement.

  • Secure, retain and grow clients for our strategic podcast partners that deliver on the investment plan and present solutions that demonstrate the value of the NOVA Podcasting Network. Ensure plans always reflect a clear understanding of the partners' advertising needs and brand values.

  • Maintain a high profile with key podcast partners, working collaboratively with internal colleagues to enable partnership delivery and growth

  • Work collaboratively with CREATE commercial strategy teams on developing compelling go-to-market strategies and collateral

  • Work collaboratively with Product, Data and Audience Intelligence teams to ensure we have market leading product and commercial solutions.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Recognised success in leading high performing Commercial teams

  • Proven ability to create and implement a successful commercial strategic vision within Digital Media, Audio or Broadcast

  • Flexible and adaptable to work outside core hours

  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office – Outlook, Excel, Word

  • Excellent presentation skills, advanced administrative and research skills

  • Current motor vehicle license

  • Ability to deliver timely solutions and develop strong relationships with different levels of staff, senior management across the organisation, podcast partners, and external clients

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to carry out duties autonomously, with little direct supervision

  • Tertiary qualifications in related discipline desirable

  • Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative and results-driven, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to a changing landscape

  • Passionate about the digital audio industry, in particular podcasting and trending content.
