The purpose of the Claims Consultant role is the proactive management of claims, and to provide exceptional levels of satisfaction for all key partnerships.

About the role

  • Ensure legitimate claims are paid in accordance with policy conditions, by providing technical expertise and management.

  • Seek approval on all Claim Declinatures before they are issued to the respective client in-line with claims authority matrix.

  • Liaise with Builders, Engineers, Assessors, Brokers, Strata Managers and various internal stakeholders, to achieve the agreed KPI's and service standards.

  • Refer any claims which exceed claims authority.

  • Identify and share possible improvement areas with claims processes and procedures, to deliver best practice

About you

  • Insurance industry experience is essential

  • General Insurance Claims experience would be highly regarded.

  • You must have full working rights in Australia to be considered for this role.
