Governance and Reporting are seeking to establish a pool of Finance Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2025 and up to the end of October 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
We currently have one permanent full-time vacancy that requires an immediate start.
The Infrastructure Division has responsibility for the planning and provision of facilities (land, buildings and equipment) which includes land planning, student enrolment forecasting and facilities planning, strategic asset management, capital works programs, maintenance and minor works programs and provision of facilities related services.
The Role
Finance Officers prepare invoices for payment and recording of financial information relating to capital works, maintenance, minor works and other programs managed by the Directorate. They ensure that transactions are processed in accordance with the Financial Management Act 2006, Regulations, Treasurer’s Instructions and Department policy.
Suitable applicants will assist with the cash flow management, monitoring and reporting of expenditure of the various programs managed by the Directorate, including the development and maintenance of Directorate financial systems. Additionally, they will monitor, analyse and review Infrastructure, and more specifically the Capital Works and Maintenance, expenditure and budgets.
