The Metropolitan Cemeteries Board (MCB) are the caretakers of Perth’s cemeteries, entrusted to commemoratethe lives of Western Australians now and into the future. We respectfully help family and friends honour the lives of loved ones and safeguard memories for future generations.

We have one permanent full-time position available for an experienced Memorials Sales Consultant based at Pinnaroo Cemetery (but working across multiple cemeteries where needed).

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate person who is passionate about Memorial Sales to provide a seamless and high quality service to clients in our beautiful cemeteries.

The Memorial Sales Consultant will be responsible for:

- Working in a sales environment, with a focus on soft sales skills and relationship building
- Providing excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse audiences with compassion
- Using good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Identifying and implementing service changes to provide better customer satisfaction
- Observing and interpreting client needs

Eligibility Requirements

- The recommended applicant will need to provide a National Police Clearance prior to appointment that is less than 6 months old from the date of issue or obtain one prior to appointment. A criminal conviction may not preclude you from gaining employment.
