As a Research Coordinator, you will:

- Support the delivery of the Strategic and Communications plans and work directly with our Faculty and Deakin Central teams. This includes:

- identifying and creating connections to translate and distribute research findings and outcomes from the Centre to raise the profile of the Centre.

- Research administration activities to support positive grant performance and the continued success as we become a new Institute.

- develop SEED research briefings and other SEED related research stories and encourage cohort engagement via newsletters, website content, social media and podcasts.

- maintain SEED websites and other media channels, by contributing to stream content to ensure that it is up-to-date.

- Support leaders with capacity-building activities for PhD and EMCR scholars within and across SEED-Lifespan and the School of Psychology.

- Assist with the management of longitudinal studies network directories, running regular webinars, hosting bi-annual national Master Classes.

- Support relationship maintenance with SEED affiliated cohort consortia, and the integration of cohort studies to ensure the Centre is well represented.

- Support organisation and promotion of events including strategic planning days, internal and external launch events, regular showcases, and symposiums such as the annual Australian Fatherhood Research Symposium.

To be successful, you’ll have:

- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience.

- Experience with health information and data, and ability to successfully contribute to research administration by delivering service excellence.

- Ability to contribute to community engagement for research, and support our networks and partnerships.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.

- Marketing and communications skills desirable, for instance experience in editing and production of research content via various creative mediums such as developing animations, short videos and podcasting.
