We are seeking two Research Coordinators (1 x research & 1 x research / evaluation) to be responsible for the development and delivery of research projects, project plans, data analysis, evaluations and ensuring project quality, budget, delivery time lines and strategies are met. These are Full Time, 12 Month Fixed Term positions currently based in Blackburn North (WFH arrangements are currently in place).

**About the roles**

Reporting to the Senior Research Fellow, the Research Coordinator roles will primarily focus on helping to improve the care and outcomes of mental health patients, in line with recommendations from the Royal Commission into Victoria's Mental Health System. The responsibilities of the Research Coordinator positions include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinating and delivering research projects and evaluation frameworks, ensuring projects meet the desired time, budget, compliance and quality objectives, in line with project documentation and goals,
- Developing and maintaining all required project documentation,
- Making recommendations about methods to improve quality and efficiency for Centre of Research & Evaluation reporting and analysis,
- Identifying key stakeholders and work pro-actively to gain their support and endorsement by establishing contacts, conducting presentations and attending stakeholder meetings,
- Establishing and maintaining a usable and well-communicated plan/schedule for all phases of the project,
- Statistical analyses of large complex datasets.

**About you**

You are self-motivated with high attention to detail and well-developed quantitative analysis skills.

To be considered for this position, you will possess:

- Experience in scoping projects and ability to translate project briefs into analysis tasks,
- Demonstrated experience in producing reports for senior management,
- Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills,
- Sound experience in research governance and ethical requirements,
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the development of data extracts, data quality control (e.g. cleaning &coding) and statistical analysis of large complex data sets,
- Knowledge and experience using relevant software tools (e.g. statistical packages, database tools),
- A current Victorian Driver Licence.

The position is graded at AV4. The AV grade salary range for AV- 4 position is $95,695 - $119,761 (pro-rata), plus 10.5% superannuation. Salary on commencement is offered at the base of the AV grade.
