Senior Research Officer, Research Projects page is loaded## Senior Research Officer, Research Projectslocations:   St Lucia Campustime type:   Full timeposted on:   Posted Todayjob requisition id:   R-57108* , based in the* Position available as full-time (100%) or part-time (negotiable 60-80%), fixed term through to June 2026* Base salary will be in the range $93,491.78 - $100,296.97 + 17% Superannuation (HEW Level 6)* Based at our vibrant and picturesque# **About This Opportunity**We are seeking a skilled, organised and proactive Senior Project Officer to support a program of work within the Centre for the Business and Economics of Health (CBEH).In this role, you will provide high-level project management support across two major project initiatives, as well as contributing to broader research activities focused on health workforce optimisation, palliative care and aged care, including First Nations aged care.This position is integral to advancing high-impact research by coordinating complex projects, fostering collaboration, and driving the growth of applied research in palliative care and aged care. The position is available as either full time or negotiable part time for the right person and may be extended beyond the initial project period, subject to funding.It is an exciting opportunity to work at a leading Centre within UQ’s Business, Economics and Law Faculty and to contribute to meaningful research making a genuine impact in the community.Key responsibilities will include:**Research Project Coordination*** Provides research project management, coordinating aspects of the research project cycle, including planning, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation to support the successful completion of projects* Monitors progress against project plans, tracking milestones and deliverables* Maintains research-related databases, records and electronic documentation and ensures completeness and accuracy of research data* Coordinates project stakeholder engagement, including maintaining the CRM database, to sustain and promote the projects* Maintains an awareness of the relevant research funding landscape, reviews grant funding opportunities and coordinates preparation of applications**Technical/Scientific Research*** Assists with implementing research project plans, including collating documents and records to ensure projects comply with agreed research methodologies* Assists in the design and development of research protocols and actively participates in data collection and collation* Undertakes basic data analysis, manipulation and interpretation using statistical software packages and MS Excel* Coordinates the research publication process, including contributing to manuscript drafting and coordinating digital recording in Library systems**Research and administrative support*** Utilises project management and administrative systems and processes to ensure compliance with university, funder and regulator requirements* Manages research ethics and data access approval processes including coordinating preparation of applications, monitoring progress and being a primary point of contact for queries* Provides executive support for relevant committee and working groups, including preparation of agenda and minutes to facilitate implementation of the program’s strategies and action plans* Arranges and coordinates project related events* Monitors project budgets including processing invoices through UQ systems* Coordinates project reporting and contributes to writing reports, preparing reports, graphs, figures and presentations on research outcomes at different stages of the research cycle outcomes# **About UQ**As part of the UQ community, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world.Everyone here has a role to play.
