- Monitor asset health using diagnostics, condition monitoring, and reliability data to inform priorities.
- Review and prioritise electrical routines against Life Maintenance Plans (LMPs) and maintenance manuals.
- Support high-level root cause analysis (RCA) activities and maintain electrical diagrams.
- Manage maintenance budgets and contribute to cost-effective decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with Australian standards, regulatory requirements, and EnergyAustralia policies.
- Champion a strong safety culture and participate in risk assessments and incident investigations.
- Prepare technical reports and collaborate across teams to inform decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset reliability and cost-effectiveness.
- Support planned and unplanned outage activities.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience in a heavy industrial setting).
- Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance within power generation or similar heavy industry.
- Experience with DCS programming, troubleshooting, instrumentation, and control strategies.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Understanding of equipment isolation and lock-out procedures.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
