Who you are

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Management Accountant to join our ANZ Finance Team. The right candidate is a detail-oriented finance professional with passion for compliance, reporting and business partnering. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions across Sales, Marketing, and Support functions.

Your responsibilities

- Oversee tax compliance including Payroll Tax, Income Tax, FBT, BAS, and tax planning.

- Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes and support external audits.

- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Support teams to provide financial insights and analysis.

- Prepare internal reporting, maintain balance sheet integrity, and contribute to global finance processes.

- Use tools like Power BI to deliver actionable financial dashboards and support system improvements.

- Lead ad‑hoc projects to enhance financial operations.

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar management accounting role.

- Strong understanding of Australian & New Zealand tax legislation, IFRS/local GAAP, and financial reporting.

- Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non‑finance stakeholders.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP or Oracle).

- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement across cross‑functional teams.

- Strong mindset focused on process enhancement and operational efficiency.

- Experience working in a global organisation is desired, but not essential.

- Track record of working across diverse business functions with cross‑functional teams.
