As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be the trusted expert ensuring our cutting‑edge systems perform at their best every day. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you’ll travel to customer sites across NSW to deliver hands‑on service, preventive maintenance, and performance optimisation for Visy‑supplied technology systems. This role suits a technically minded trades professional with mechanical and electrical expertise who enjoys solving problems, building customer relationships, and keeping production technology running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

- Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and servicing of Visy‑supplied technology systems.

- Perform preventive maintenance and identify potential faults before they escape.

- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues to minimise downtime.

- Coordinate spare parts ordering and ensure availability prior to site visits.

- Recommend efficiency and reliability improvements pre‑ and post‑installation.

- Maintain accurate service records, including repairs, maintenance, and parts used.

- Provide onsite training and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.

- Uphold all safety standards and foster a proactive safety culture on‑site.

What You Will Bring:

- Hands‑on trade experience, ideally within manufacturing or industrial automation.

- Proven field service experience with strong troubleshooting capability.

- Sound understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance documentation systems.

- Self‑motivated, with strong problem‑solving and organisational skills.

You’ll also have the flexibility to travel to customer sites, occasionally work outside standard hours, and hold a current driver’s licence.
