For over 40 years, CDK Stone have been providing total support to the stone industry. In addition to selling natural stone and providing a premium range of tools and equipment, we service a range of CNC stone processing machinery for our customers across Australia.

We have a strong reputation in developing people from outside the industry, and we are now looking for our next Field Service Technician to join our service department.

**About You**
- Working as a Fitter and Turner, you likely have hands-on experience repairing and maintaining machinery or fabricating parts with close attention to detail. You enjoy pulling objects apart and putting them back together because you are fascinated with understanding how they work, which is what drew you to this field in the first place.
- You are looking for a change of industry and pursue a long-term career but still want to work in a role that allows you to work with your hands.
- Most of your time is spent in the workshop, but you are interested in getting out on the road and visiting customers. This is because of the autonomy it provides and it means that no day ever looks the same.

**About the Role**

Based in Moorebank, you will work alongside our team of Technicians and provide significant support to our customer base across the Greater Sydney area by:

- Developing your skills and knowledge across a broad range of machines and across a number of industry brands, including; GMM, Burkhardt and Thibaut to name a few
- Executing the installation process from pre-site inspection, overseeing the delivery of machines, assembling the machines through to training end users
- Conducting root cause analysis, fault-finding and diagnosing efficient solutions to machine breakdowns
- Acting as a key point of contact for the customer, you will represent the brand and communicate with key stakeholders from production managers to stonemasons
- Perform regular routine maintenance checks

**Selection Criteria**

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to be able to tick the list below;
- A Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification
- Current and unrestricted drivers licence
