About the Position:
Our client is seeking a commercially astute Senior Associate – Commercial Litigation to play a pivotal role in their high-performing disputes practice.
Working closely with an accomplished Partner who is highly regarded for both tax controversy and general commercial litigation, you will lead complex and diverse matters. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of files, including contractual disputes, regulatory enforcement, shareholder and director disputes, IP claims, tax audits, and commercial fraud.
You'll be trusted to take ownership of files from day one—strategising, running litigation, and mentoring junior team members. This is an ideal opportunity for a Senior Associate who’s ready to step into more responsibility and carve a clear path toward Special Counsel or Partnership within a business that values leadership and legal excellence.
Key Requirements:
- 5–10 years PAE in commercial litigation (top/mid-tier firm experience desirable)
- Strong background in managing complex commercial disputes from inception to resolution
- Experience with litigation in areas such as tax, regulatory enforcement, IP, or shareholder conflicts
- Exceptional drafting, advocacy, and strategic thinking skills
- Passion for mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to team development
- Confident in managing sophisticated clients and contributing to business development
- Highly organised with strong commercial judgment and problem-solving skills
