Overview

ConsultANZ is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a reputable main contractor in Hamilton, Waikato. This is an excellent chance to take the lead on major infrastructure projects while working with a collaborative and results-driven team dedicated to delivering outstanding outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource planning while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Foster clear and effective communication between clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Ensure all project deliverables align with contractual specifications and quality expectations.
- Identify project risks and develop comprehensive strategies to mitigate potential issues.
- Prepare detailed project proposals, budgets, and reports while showcasing exceptional organizational and leadership skills.

Requirements

- Tertiary qualification with strong knowledge of commercial and contractual frameworks.
- 8-10+ years of experience in civil contracting, particularly in water-related infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and construction methodologies.
- Ability to assess site conditions through physical inspections and interpret technical data from surveys and investigations.
- A hands-on, practical approach paired with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
