About the Role
Transgrid is leading the delivery of HumeLink – one of the largest transmission infrastructure projects in Australia. Spanning over 360 kilometres, HumeLink will connect Wagga Wagga, Bannaby and Maragle, unlocking renewable energy and strengthening the grid to deliver cleaner, more reliable electricity to millions of Australians. As part of our Major Projects division, you’ll be joining a team that is building a once-in-a-generation project critical to Australia’s clean energy future.
As a key member of the Major Projects Humelink East team, you will be responsible for supporting the safe and efficient delivery of large-scale civil infrastructure works. You will work closely with construction partners to monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure works are delivered to the required standards of safety, quality, and performance. This role requires strong coordination across multiple stakeholders to keep delivery on track and aligned with project objectives.
About You
You are an experienced construction leader with a proven track record in delivering large-scale civil infrastructure projects. You thrive in complex delivery environments, maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance, and bring the ability to influence, support, and guide construction partners to achieve successful project outcomes. You excel in building collaborative relationships, proactively resolving challenges, and ensuring works are delivered to the required standards of safety, quality, and performance.
- Extensive experience in heavy civil construction, including roads, foundations, and bench construction.
- A strong understanding of work health and safety (WHS) and environmental compliance requirements.
- A proven track record in delivering complex construction projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Proven ability to build strong partnerships with construction partners, taking a proactive and supportive approach to collaboration and project outcomes.
