Join Alinta Energy’s Finance team as the Business Controller for our Merchant Energy business unit. You’ll lead financial reporting, statutory audits, and month-end processes while partnering with senior leaders to drive performance and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do
- Lead the financial accounting processes for Merchant Energy
- Drive month-end close improvement processes
- Use your knowledge of the business to perform cash flow forecasting across multiple entities
- Guide and develop a team of accountants to deliver performance excellence
- Partnering with commercial teams to enhance business outcomes
- Contributing to a culture of Zero Harm and environmental responsibility
Your experience
- CA/CPA qualified with 10+ years in financial accounting or commercial
- Proven leadership in complex finance environments
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Experience in energy/utilities or Big 4 audit highly desirable
- Skilled in financial modelling, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement
