Reports to: Regional Manager – Operations Control Centre
Employment Type: Full-Time
As an Operations Control Centre Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our bus network operations, proactively monitoring services, coordinating responses to incidents, and keeping internal and external stakeholders informed. You’ll ensure our buses run safely, punctually, and efficiently, while supporting large‑scale events and managing complex operational challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor real‑time bus service performance using PTIPS and other operational systems to identify delays, incidents, or service issues.
- Coordinate and communicate with bus operators, depot management, and external stakeholders to maintain service delivery and safety.
- Respond to and manage operational issues, incidents, and emergencies, ensuring timely resolution.
- Support major events and special service operations, providing on‑the‑ground and communications assistance as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and data for operational and safety performance, providing actionable insights to management.
- Continuously review incidents and service performance to identify improvements and reduce risks.
- Promote and uphold a culture of safety, integrity, and professionalism across all operations.
About You
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Experience in transport operations, emergency response, or a similar fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficient with data entry, reporting, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proactive, solution‑focused, and committed to operational excellence and safety.
