Position details
This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency.

The Role
As a key member of the administrative team, you will work closely with the Principal to provide educational leadership both within the school and the broader community. Your primary focus will be on developing and promoting the school's vision, encouraging active participation from school staff, community volunteers, and other stakeholders within the Context of Society and Environment learning area.
In your capacity as a curriculum leader, you will play a crucial role in providing professional guidance to Humanities and Social Science teachers, ensuring they stay informed on relevant curriculum issues within your designated area. You will facilitate teaching and learning outcomes, employ effective performance management strategies, and promote a culture of continuous improvement among the school's academic community.
A key aspect of your role may involve implementing change management strategies to lead the school community in accepting and developing opportunities for improved service within your specified subject area. Your contributions will extend to collaborative development of the school plan, participative decision-making, policy development, and establishing necessary systems.
