Position Overview:
Hotel Indigo Sydney Potts Point is seeking a dynamic and passionate Assistant Front Office Manager to join our vibrant team As the Assistant Front Office Manager, you will oversee the operational efficiency of all front office areas and ensure that our guest service delivery consistently exceeds expectations. You will manage the Front Desk and Guest Services teams, drive performance, enhance guest experiences, and help create a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the Front Office & Guest Service teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

- Lead daily shift briefings and maintain clear communication across departments.

- Manage guest arrivals, departures, and ensure seamless check-ins and check-outs.

- Address guest issues promptly, ensuring they leave with a positive experience.

- Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure timely room readiness and quality.

- Promote IHG Rewards Club, exceed enrolment targets, and foster guest loyalty.

- Perform regular inspections of guest and public areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety.

- Provide coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities for team members.

- Ensure compliance with safety, emergency procedures, and all regulatory requirements.

- Promote teamwork, quality service, and employee engagement through communication and recognition.

What We're Looking For:

- Strong leadership skills with a passion for guest service and team development.

- Previous experience in Front Office or Guest Services roles, preferably in a hotel environment.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- A positive, approachable attitude with a solutions-focused mindset.

- Proficiency in hotel management systems and IT applications.

- Current First Aid and Responsible Service of Alcohol certificates (NSW).

- Must meet the appropriate legal requirements to work in Australia.
