Assistant Policy & Project Officer (Clerk Grade 5/6) – NSW Department of Education
Join the NSW Department of Education as an Assistant Policy & Project Officer within the Inclusion & Wellbeing directorate.
Location: Parramatta, with access to NSW Education offices and flexible working arrangements available
Salary: Clerk Grade 5/6 with base salary $99,938 to $110,271 per annum, plus employer’s superannuation contribution and annual leave loading
Employment Type: Ongoing full-time

About the Inclusion & Wellbeing directorate
The Inclusion and Wellbeing Directorate drives continuous improvement of policies and programmes that maximise access, inclusion and wellbeing of students from pre-school to year 12. It leads state-wide strategy and policy to lift participation, health and wellbeing, and outcomes for students with disability.
About the role
The Assistant Policy & Project Officer undertakes research, analysis, reporting and administrative activities to support policy advice and delivery of projects to achieve outcomes and support organisational objectives and Government commitments.

Essential requirements
- Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one)
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
