About the role (selected roles)

Analyst/Senior Geospatial Analyst: join the Operations team to deliver geospatial outcomes and deliverables across projects. Location preference: Sydney. Responsibilities include spatial design, data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder communications. Senior Carbon Project Analyst: lead on performance analysis of environmental regeneration projects, with responsibilities across data analysis, forecasting, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. Location preference: Sydney. Senior roles may be available in multiple portfolios across various Australian locations.

Responsibilities common to roles

- Lead engagement with landholders, regulators, auditors, and project stakeholders to communicate performance and meet reporting requirements.
- Manage data analysis, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting to support project performance and decision making.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with environmental market methodologies and regulatory requirements.
- Travel to regional and remote sites as required.

Field Technicians (Expressions of Interest)

GreenCollar is seeking Field Technicians for regional New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia on a casual basis, with one 12-day field trip per month and optional office-based work in off weeks. The role is outdoors and physically active, with accommodation, meals, equipment, and training provided. Location: regional Australia; travel to remote sites may be required.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

- Monitoring and biomass surveys for native forest protection and regeneration carbon projects
- Plant species identification; data collection; equipment maintenance and calibration
- Compliance with regulatory requirements and internal risk practices; field navigation

Essential skills and experience

- Unrestricted Class C driver’s licence
- Knowledge of Australian plants and taxonomic identification
- Experience working outdoors; WHS/Risk awareness
- Ability to record survey data accurately; willingness to travel

Desirable skills

- 4WD experience; basic GIS; Senior First Aid/CPR
- Experience in carbon farming or environmental markets
- Team-oriented with a proactive attitude
